  • PhD in Medicine, February 2016, for his thesis Inflammatory markers in eating disorders in relation to traumatic history and other clinical parameters; with a distinction cum laude.

Dr. Alberto Rodriguez Quiroga received bilingual education since he was three in Kensington School of Madrid.

He is a physician specialized in Psychiatry, and has dedication and extensive experience in treating children, adolescents and adults suffering from mood disorders, anxiety, psychotic problems, eating disorders and dysfunctional personality traits.

He completed his training in psychotherapy with specific training from an integrative perspective (Master of Integrative Psychotherapy), in order to combine his expertise in psychopharmacology with his interest in providing care to his patients beyond the simple prescription. Also aware of the close relationship established in some cases with the legal setting, he specialized in forensic psychiatry to cover these problems.

Dr. Alberto Rodriguez Quiroga has been developing his teaching career with students of Medicine degree and graduate psychology students. Thus, he has been Senior Lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid, teaching theoretical lectures in the Bachelor of Medicine and professor of the Master’s Degree in Humanistic Experiential Psychotherapy at the Psychodynamics Interaction Institute, professor of the Practicum Integrative Psychotherapy in Psychology Center NB and professor in the General Medical Psychologist Master’s in the European University of Madrid.

Currently, he combines his work in SINEWS with his activity as a specialist in a university hospital in Madrid.
