English-Speaking Parents
Be Prepared to Act in an Emergency
Learn life-saving first aid skills for babies and children in a practical, hands-on course designed for parents and caregivers.
Why Every Parent Should Know First Aid
Children are naturally curious, fearless, and unpredictable. Most of the time, nothing happens. But when an emergency occurs, knowing what to do in the first few minutes can make a critical difference.
Many situations that seem frightening (like choking or loss of consciousness) can often be managed effectively with simple, well-learned techniques.
This course is designed to give you the confidence to act quickly and safely.
What You Will Learn
In this course, you will learn how to respond to the most common emergencies in babies and children:
- Choking (how to act immediately)
- CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation for babies and children)
- Skin burns
- Febrile seizures
- Drowning (including pool-related incidents)
- Loss of consciousness
- Head injuries
- Haemorrhage and bleeding control
- Allergic reactions
A Practical, Hands-On Training
This is not just a theoretical course. All participants will practice each technique using baby and child mannequins under direct supervision from a qualified professional.
You will leave the course knowing exactly what to do: not just in theory, but in practice.
