Boundary setting and assertiveness in the academic context

This practical workshop offers specific, tailored, and relevant strategies for managing conversational disputes, conflict situations, disruptive behaviors, and procedurally unacceptable situations within the academic environment. It has a dual focus of intervention: on the one hand, university staff in administrative roles, and on the other, teaching faculty.

If your university is interested in finding ways to foster a climate of greater safety, tolerance, and freedom of expression—within clear boundaries—both inside and outside the classroom, this workshop aims to empower your staff from the inside out. That is, it focuses first on understanding one’s own reactions to stressful situations that may arise, followed by learning how to manage and deliver the most appropriate response to the students involved.
