Dr. Gema Rubio Herranz is an adult and couples psychologist. Her area of work is centered mainly on the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders (panic attacks, phobias, generalized anxiety…), stress and mood related disorders (depression, bipolar disorder...). Gambling and Biofeedback therapy are her areas of expertise. Gema offers individual and group therapy, and has acquired vast clinical and research experience in the field of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy.

Her professional career began as a resident psychologist in the Clinical and Health Psychology unit of the Department of Psychology in the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Since then, she has enjoyed a successful private practice. She has complemented her clinical work with research (her cum laude doctoral thesis was on gambling), scientific publications and teaching. She was a professor at the Saint Louis University- Madrid Campus, and has carried out different psycho-educational workshops for patients (panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, relaxation techniques...).
